Zion National Park:
A UX Design Project
For my Graphic Design 3 class, I undertook the Zion National Park Project, which aimed to develop an XD mock-up of a specialized tourist app catering to hiking enthusiasts. The app's primary function was to serve as a comprehensive guide for users to explore and uncover the diverse array of trails available at the breathtaking Zion National Park in Utah.
The scope of the project encompassed creating designs for a Kiosk, Website, Tablet, and Mobile App interfaces. This involved meeting various requirements, including implementing a user-friendly navigation system, integrating an auto-animate feature, and incorporating an element to overlap the existing page. The ultimate goal was to deliver a seamless and immersive user experience across different digital platforms.

Designing With Simplicity in Mind
In creating this project, I deliberately sought to infuse it with a simple and minimalist aesthetic, allowing the inherent beauty of nature to take center stage. The decision to embrace simplicity stemmed from a belief in the power of uncluttered design to enhance the user experience and convey a sense of elegance and sophistication. By prioritizing clean lines, subtle color palettes, and unobtrusive elements, I aimed to foster a harmonious interaction between the project and its audience.
This deliberate approach not only elevates the visual appeal but also ensures seamless navigation and heightened focus on the project's core purpose. Every aspect of the design is meticulously crafted to strike a balance between aesthetics and functionality, offering a compelling experience that resonates with discerning individuals who value refined elegance and thoughtful design.
